PacSeal Hydraulics’ linear LSV control valves are designed with ShearFlo® metal-to-metal sealing technology to ensure high cycle life and negligible internal leakage with superior contaminant resistance, making these valves perfectly suited for critical service applications in harsh and hazardous environments. Although the LSV was originally designed for grease injection of frac tree valves, any application is suitable requiring long term, reliable and leak free operation.
If a grease line check valve fails, the line may experience high-velocity and high-pressure backflow that has the potential to damage upstream components. When needle valves fail, they remain open and inherently cannot seal back-pressure. This makes upstream components vulnerable to damage. If backflow occurs, the PacSeal Grease Valve is failsafe closed with the spring return, which will protect itself and all components upstream from it. The backflow stops at the PacSeal Grease Valve because it seals from both directions.
These valves have instantaneous hydraulic or pneumatic actuation (remote only) via direct or solenoid valve piloted, spring return single-acting, or double-acting.
Fluid flow is directed one-way with two-positions: on or off. There are two available sizes based on the working pressure: 1/2″ NPT/SAE and MP LF9 (9/16″) for 5000 psi and 20,000 psi working pressure, respectively.
Subsea and topside/splash zone options coming soon!
Every component of all control valve sizes are manufactured in the USA. While each linear control valve that leaves our facility is inspected, tested, and serialized to ensure optimum performance for your hydraulic control system. When we do receive feedback from our customers, it is to report their utter surprise for the hundreds of thousands of cycles they are able to achieve with no problems.
The footprint and complexity of a hydraulic control system may dramatically be reduced with PacSeal Hydraulics’ patented integral manifold.
